Inception

Foundation

DCIP was launched by the District Administration to provide structured exposure to administrative processes and district-level governance work. The programme began with a small pilot cohort supporting documentation and file digitization activities.

2025
Award

State Recognition

Received the 'Chief Minister's Award for Innovation in Public Policy'. The programme expanded to cover 10 major departments including Health, Education, and Revenue.

COVID-19

Crisis Response

Interns formed the backbone of the District War Room. From managing oxygen supply logistics to coordinating volunteer networks, DCIP proved its worth in crisis management.
